The Hilton Spa and Resort in the Maldives is located on the Rangall Island off the South West tip of India.
We manufactured many custom made stainless steel benches and bars and dozens of custom made refrigeration cabinets. A large variety of cooking, bar and dishwashing equipment including specialized items such as lobster display tanks, sushi displays, tempura fryers and yakatori grills to name just a few.
Our installation team consisted of 9 specialists all sent to give their expertise to the project in areas such as refrigeration, canopy and coolroom installations.
Due to the remote location of the island the export of all the tools and equipment required was an intense logistics task in itself. A total of 12 40ft containers of equipment were sent and with a 120ft container just for all the various tools required for the installations.
All this equipment was sent to accomodate the specifications of the project to create 10 individual food service areas including salads, Asian, Grill, a Pizza Restaurant, Indian, a Japanese Restaurant, Desert Area, Koko Grill and Bakery. There were 7 additional seperate restaurants on the Island that included a world renound Underwater Restaurant that challenged our refrigeration team to be able to install the lines underwater. There was a staff kitchen including it's own bakery and also the largest bar on the island, The Rangall Bar.
Overall the scale and export of the project was a challenge that was tackled with expertise and attention to detail.
